At Thurnby Mead we offer a range of Extra-Curriculum clubs which vary each term. These clubs are run by external providers.

  • Daily cost: £1.50 per child
  • Advance booking only: All places must be booked in advance via Bromcom. Unfortunately, ad hoc or on-the-day bookings will no longer be possible.
  • Arrival window: Children must arrive between 8:00am and 8:10am.
  • Late arrivals: If a child is not booked in advance or arrives after 8:10am, they will be refused entry (this is necessary due to staffing ratios/deployment/smooth running of the provision).
Breakfast Menu: Children attending Breakfast Club will be offered a choice of toast, healthy cereals, crumpets, yoghurt, fruit, milk, and water.
This menu has been carefully planned to reflect the nutritional requirements set out by the Food Standards Agency.
These changes are necessary to ensure the sustainability of the provision while continuing to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.

  • Open to all classes

  • Foundation and year 1 children will be taken to their classroom by a member of staff

Now introducing affordable afterschool care for families at Thurnby Mead Primary Academy.

Led by our trained staff, sessions run from 3:05pm – 5:00pm (collection anytime), with games, activities and snacks included.

We are also offering an additional sibling discount for all families.
